Golf Shop

We carry an extensive variety of brands of golf clubs, golf shirts, and any other item you could imagine. You can choose from a variety of equipment options as well as specially selected clothing and accessories to suit your style, size, and interests. However, should you need something specific, our highly trained proshop staff will do their best to locate the item for you.

The Albany Country Club also staffs several golf pros which are available to both members and their guests. The golf pros are available to help you improve your game, or to ask a question about the course. They also have extensive knowledge of the course and can provide tips on how to play each hole. The Golf Shop is open Tuesday-Sunday during the golf season. The hours of operation vary based on the time of year and as daylight changes. During most of the golf season, the hours are as follows. Tuesday: 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Wednesday: 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Thursday: 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Friday: 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Saturday: 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Sunday: 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. The Golf Shop may close early if the golf course closes or leagues are canceled due to inclement weather. Members will be notified by e-mail.

The Golf Shop at Albany Country Club carries one of the largest selections of men and women's golf apparel in the area. It wasn't too long ago that golf clothing wasn't considered fashionable and was only worn on the golf course. Today, the clothes that you wear golfing may be the same clothes that you wear to work, to school, or to dinner. Whatever the need, our golf shop staff should be able to take care of you. It is impossible to carry every size in every style, so if you see something you like but not in your size, ask the staff and we will be more than happy to place a special order. In addition, we are always looking for suggestions. If you know of an apparel line that we don't carry but you think would be popular, let us know.

The Golf Shop at Albany Country Club stocks all of the latest equipment from a large variety of the top name manufacturers. In addition, if there is a product that we do not have in stock, more than likely we can order it for you. In fact, much of the equipment sold today is "custom fit" to the individual and needs to be put on special order. If you are interested in new equipment and want to try some of the latest in technology we have a large selection of demo clubs that can be tried on the driving range or on the golf course. To make sure the club "fits" you properly schedule an appointment, free of charge, with one of the friendly and knowledgeable professionals on staff.
