Buffet Reception

All Reception Stations include Full Salad Bar and two (2) choices from two (2) entrée stations below.

These stations are presented self-service and buffet style. For an added enhancement, our Chefs will prepare your selection in your function room for an additional charge of $100.00 per station. A la carte ordering is also available. Please see your Banquet Coordinator for details.

Cost: $53.95 per person, $15 per person each additional station.

Reception Stations may be added to your Cocktail Reception for an additional $15 per person each Station. Please see your Banquet Coordinator.

Menus:  The enclosed menus are suggestions for your planning purposes.  Our Catering staff will be happy to assist in formulating special menus to meet your specific needs.  If you have a special request or personal favorite not listed on these menus, please let us know.  Vegetarian and other dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice

Deposits:  A $500 deposit is required to confirm specific dates for use of the Club facilities.

Menu Prices:  All menus and package prices and beverage charges are subject to a 19% catering fee (taxable), 5% gratuity (non-taxable) and 8% NYS sales tax. The monies collected from the Catering fee will be used to pay a portion of the salaries of our Banquet, Kitchen and Administrative Staff.  The Gratuities will go to your service staff.  Additional gratuity is not required, but if your wait staff exceeded your expectations you may leave an additional gratuity that will go directly to the staff who worked your party.  Groups requesting tax-exempt status must provide the Club with a valid New York State Tax Exemption Form. Menu prices are subject to change. Specific menu prices may be confirmed six months prior to an event.

Menu Selections and Guarantees:  You are requested to choose a maximum of (3) Lunch or Dinner Entrée Selection for your group.  If additional selections are required, the highest of the selected entrée prices will apply to all entrees.  Multiple entrée selections require a specific entrée count guarantee in advance.  The final guarantee of attendees for an event is required (3) business days prior to the event.  In the event no guarantee is received, the initial expected number of guests will apply.  The Club will be prepared to serve (5) percent over the guarantee number, and reserves the right to substitute items if required. 

Additional Charges:  Menu prices include a selection of standard linen choices and table decorations.  Additional charges may apply for room rental, room set-up, bartender/cashier fees, station attendant fees, other labor charges, equipment rental charges, flower and decoration charges, valet parking and cleaning charges.  Please ask about details.

Valet Parking:  To facilitate your event, valet parking is available for all groups.  Please ask for rates and details. 

Billing:  All charges incurred by Albany Country Club members are payable within the standard Club Account

billing cycles.  All charges incurred by Non-Members, must be paid by the conclusion of the event, unless prior credit and billing arrangements have been made.  Please note that when paying by credit card, there will be an additional convenience fee of 2.5% added to your charges. 

Security:  Albany Country Club will not assume responsibility for damages or loss of any  materials or articles left on the premises either prior to, during or after a function.

Publicity and Advertising:  Albany Country Club requires that all persons, groups and organizations receive prior approval to use the Club’s name in any public print, radio or television advertising.  Other specific policies, regulations and restrictions apply to events and outings.  Please request a copy of the Standard Banquet Terms and Conditions for more information.
